Talk show host Seth Meyers to host 2018 Golden Globes
LOS ANGELES: Late night moderator Seth Meyers will have the 2018 Golden Globe film and TV grants function in January, coordinators said on Monday.
It will be the main Golden Globes facilitating gig for Myers, 43, whose Late Night with Seth Meyers affectation on NBC.
The Golden Globes function — a casual and boozy supper went to by many A-rundown stars — is one of the greatest in the Hollywood honors season that comes full circle with the Oscars in March.
The 2018 service will happen on January 7 in Beverly Hills and will be communicated live on NBC, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association — which votes on the honors — said in an announcement.
NBC Entertainment administrator Robert Greenblatt said in an announcement that Meyers "will investigate the current year's best motion pictures and TV with his interesting image of mind, insight, and fiendish silliness".
