NEW YORK: Jay-Z drove Grammy designations Tuesday with eight gestures, took after nearly by kindred rapper Kendrick Lamar with seven, in a striking grasp of hip-jump for the music business' best prizes. 

Jay-Z, who had at no other time been designated in a noteworthy classification as a performance craftsman, is up for Album of the Year for his "4:44" and in addition for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
