Tumblr organizer and CEO David Karp will advance down after over 10 years in charge of the blogging administration, he said on Monday. 

"My choice comes following quite a while of reflection on my own desire, and at no cost to my cheerfulness for Tumblr's future or the effect I know it can have," Karp said in a letter to staff. 

Tumblr is a piece of Verizon's Oath business, which houses Yahoo and AOL web properties. 

Hurray purchased Tumblr for $1.1 billion of every 2013. 

Jeff D'Onofrio — Tumblr's head working officer — will keep on leading Tumblr after Karp ventures around the finish of the year, an Oath representative said through email. 

Established in 2007, Tumblr developed quickly to wind up plainly a center point for youngsters to post pictures and content. 

The stage has very nearly 380 million websites.
