Clergyman Greg Hands backtracks on Labor MP's suspension assault
Exchange serve Greg Hands erases a "thoughtlessly worded" tweet in the wake of being blamed for "undermining" the battle against discrimination against Jews.

A clergyman has backtracked in the wake of proposing Labor suspended one of its MPs since they were a "Jewish Blairite".
Greg Hands was censured for the remark on Ivan Lewis, who has been suspended in the midst of a continuous examination concerning a claim of inappropriate behavior.
The exchange serve contrasted Labor's move with that made against Emma Dent Coad.
She was blamed for composing a "bigot" article about a London Assembly part in 2010, marking him a "ghetto kid".
She apologized and was not suspended by the gathering.

Mr Hands composed on Twitter: "Extreme activity from Labor initiative against Jewish Blairite Ivan Lewis - however only 'a visit' for loathe filled 'Ghetto Boy' talk of Kensington Corbynista Emma Dent Coad."
The Chelsea and Fulham Conservative MP's post started outrage from a few, including Labor's Wes Streeting, who answered: "Greg, we have major issues with discrimination against Jews and you undermine our battle against it with senseless allegations like this."
Mr Hands erased the tweet and re-posted: "Last tweet was recklessly worded. Not intended to cause offense. Presently erased."
A Labor source informed PoliticsHome: "Greg Hands knows nothing concerning either case and ought to be embarrassed about his insinuation."
