Obama brags about his Asian cooking skills
Previous US president Barack Obama may go down as a standout amongst the most persuasive pioneers in world history, yet the genuine 'Obama factor' is the way regularly un-presidential he can be on occasion.
Conversing with veteran Indian writer Karan Thapar at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2017 in New Delhi on Friday, the two-term US president gloated about his cooking abilities.
"I'm almost certain I'm the principal US president to have the dal formula. My keema is likewise great... my chicken is alright," he joked.
Whenever inquired as to whether he knew how to make roti, Obama stated, "Ah, no, making a chapati is too hard".

Prior, in 2013, when then Pakistani chief Nawaz Sharif met Obama at the White House, the US president revealed to Sharif he knows how to cook daal and qeema.
Reviewing his visit to Pakistan amid his school days in the 1980s, Obama said he was instructed how to cook the dishes by the mother of his Pakistani flat mates.
"I imparted to him (Sharif) that I had the open door, in 1980 when I was an extremely young fellow, to visit Pakistan since I had two Pakistani flat mates in school whose moms showed me how to cook daal and qeema, and other great Pakistani nourishment," Obama told columnists amid their meeting.
"What's more, it was an awesome outing for me, and made an extraordinary thankfulness and an incredible love for the Pakistani individuals," Obama said in his joint media appearance with Sharif.
Finishing up their meeting, Sharif had welcomed the Obamas to Pakistan, saying "Qeema and daal are holding up".
